Stephen Poorman graduated from Elizabethtown College with a B.S. in Business Management and obtained a Masters Degree from Vermont College of Norwich University. Mr. Poorman is certified by the Institute of Management Consultants, Institute of Real Estate Consultants and the National Bureau of Professional Management Consultants; he holds a paralegal certification from Penn State University and is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Recognized as the Elizabethtown College “Most Enterprising Graduate,” Mr. Poorman’s other achievements include Businessman of the Year and the Heritage Award for restoration of historical properties. Steve also served on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Retailer’s Association and the Pennsylvania Crime Commission. He acted as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO for Charles Chips, Inc. and CEO of Nibbles with Gibbles, Inc. He served on the Board of Directors of Transcription International, Bangalore, India. For ten years, Mr. Poorman served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of a publicly- traded cancer treatment and ophthalmology group, the second largest radiation facility in the United States. Poorman has also owned or operated golf courses, restaurants, surgery centers, real estate agencies and various other business investments.
